How do I enter the contest?

Go to the SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE page by clicking the button the contest home page. Please be sure to complete all the information before submitting the form.

What is the deadline for entering the contest?

The deadline for signing up to participate is Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Please be sure to complete all the information before submitting the form.

Is there a sample project I can see?

Click on the DOWNLOAD AN EXAMPLE button on the contest home page.

Why can't the size of my project file be larger than 4.5 megabytes?

The computer server that is hosting the contest website cannot handle larger files. All project files, submitted online or on a CD, must be less that 4.5 megabytes. Projects that exceed the file size limit, or that use more than one file, may be eliminated from the competition.

What is the deadline for submitting projects?

All projects submitted online must be sent by 12:00 midnight CST on Friday December 3, 2010. If you are sending your project by U.S. Mail, it must be postmarked no later than Friday, December 5, 2008.

How will I know you received my project?

Participants will receive confirmation by email that their projects were received, so be sure your email address is correct in your contest entry form.

When will the winners be notified?

It depends on the number of projects to be judged, but probably no later than early January 2011. The principals of the winners’ high schools will be notified by mail. The winning students will be notified by email.
